Going off into the sunset (seater)!

So the story goes that back in 1997 Japanese furniture designer Hideyo Shamasuma had a dream. It was a dream of being on a bus and all the passengers were naked, singing Agadoo by Black Lace at every stop. Strangely when invited onto a morning talk show to talk about his range of couches, he chose to talk about the bus trip instead, in loving detail.
Ratings obviously went through the roof but sadly didn't shift a single couch.

Anyway his other dream (the one he probably should have explained on the show) was a couch that showed the evolution of a sunset. And here it is! It's got something to do with cherry blossoms and spirits I think but the tag is so small and in Japanese which I don't speak, so don't quote me on that.

(Burpo the work experience had a go but all he could decipher was 'do not eat.')

Anyway in an exclusive to Frisky Furniture, we've nabbed the prototype which comes with aromas of baked leather, soba noodles, sake and disappointment.

Yeah you read correctly Shamasuma fans, this is truly a one off with a price to reflect: $5999 of your hard earned dollars to watch your own sunset in the comfort of the Sunset Seater. Push pineapples, grind coffee but whatever you do, don't miss this!

(Can be loaded up on a bus for a small fee but we'd suggest you don't for logical reasons.)

The couches smell better at Frank Frisky Furniture!
